An injury depleted Houston Rockets hosted the LA Clippers at the Toyota Center on Thursday 25th March.  Dave sat out the game again due to a sore back while the Rockets lost their 3rd straight game.  The Rockets were down by 1 point at half time with the final score being 93-99 in favour of the Clippers.  Houston will now host the LA Lakers on Saturday the 27th March, the Washington Wizards on the 30th March before heading to San Antonio to play the Spurs on Wednesday 31st March.

The Houston Rockets played the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Ford Center in Oklahoma on Wednesday 24th March.  The Thunder outscored the Rockets 39-25 in the first quarter setting up a 74-57 half time score line in favour of the Thunder.  The second half saw both teams scoring evenly with the Rockets scoring 47 points to the Thunders 48.  Final score was rockets 104 to the Thunders 122.  Dave did not play again due to a sore back.  The Rockets now head back to Houston to host the LA Clippers, LA Lakers and the Washington Wizards.

 
Houston Have Win Over New York Knicks PDF Print E-mail

The Rockets played the Knicks at Madison Square Garden at lunch time on Sunday 21st March.  After trailing by 15 points at the end of the first quarter the Rockets came out and scored 45 points in the second quarter to reduce their deficit to 2 points at the major break.  The Houston Rockets were eventual winners 116-112 in a game that Dave did not play in.  Kevin Martin top scored for the Rockets with 28 points.  The Rockets play Chicago Bulls on Monday 22nd and Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday 24th March before heading back to Houston.

Monday 22nd March saw the Houston Rockets travel to the United Center in Chicago to play the Chicago Bulls.  The Rockets were strong in the first half, leading 53-48 at half time but a 24-13 third quarter by the Bulls saw the Rockets lose the game 88-98.  Dave did not play due to a sore back.

The Houston Rockets hosted the Boston Celtics at the Toyota Center on Friday 19th March.  The Rockets were coming of their fourth straight win but unfortunately couldn’t make it 5 in a row.  Dave played 5:30 minutes and was kept scoreless (0-2 FGM-A  0-2  FTM-A).  The final score was Houston 87 to Boston’s 94.  The Rockets hit the road for three away games against New York, Chicago and Oklahoma before hosting the LA Clippers, LA Lakers and Washington at the Toyota Center.
