Montepaschi Go 3-0

Montepaschi are sitting at the top of the Group F table after winning their third Top 16 Euroleague game on Thursday February 2.  Montepaschi  had a 23 point win against Unicaja Malaga after scoring 27-19 in the first quarter and finishing off the game with a 20-11 final quarter.  Dave played 25:56 minutes scoring 15 points and grabbing six rebounds (2 offensive 4 defensive).   Dave Moss was Montepaschi’s top scorer and rebounder with seven rebounds and 20 points.  Montepaschi’s next Euroleague Top 16 game will be a home game for them, hosting Unicaja Malaga at PalaEstra on Wednesday February 8.

 
Narrow Loss in Venezia

Montepaschi played Umana Venezia in the LegaBasket A Series Championship on Sunday January 29.  In a close game, Montepaschi went down 60-63.  Dave top scored and rebounded for Montepaschi in the game, scoring 18 points and grabbing nine rebounds ( 3 offensive 6 defensive) with 2 assists.  Despite the loss, Montepaschi is still on top of the LegaBasket table, four points clear of EA 7 Emporio Armani Milano and Canadian Solar Bologna.  Montepaschi head back to Spain to play Unicaja Malaga in the third game of the Euroleague Top 16 on Thursday February 2.

 
Montepaschi Host Banca Tercas Teramo

Montepaschi Siena hosted Banca Tercas Teramo on Sunday January 22 at PalaEstra.  After holding the opposition to 11 points each quarter for the first three quarters, top of the table Montepaschi cruised to a 21 point win, 79-58.  Dave was rested as a precautionary measure due to a mild muscle strain.  Pietro Aradori top scored for Montepaschi with 14 points while Andrea Michelori and Luca Lechthaler both grabbed six rebounds each.  Montepaschi are now four points clear on the top of the LegaBasket Series A table.

 
Montepaschi Win Game 2 of Top 16

Montepaschi Siena travelled to Madrid to play Real Madrid in game two of the Euroleague Top 16 on Wednesday January 25.  Starting the game off with a massive 31-15 first quarter, Montepaschi held the lead to win 88-69.  Dave played 20.04 minutes, scoring 11 points, grabbing seven defensive rebounds and with two assists.  Dave was the top rebounder for Montepaschi with Bo Mc Calebb top scorer with 25 points.  Montepaschi now travel to Venezia for their next A Series game on Sunday January 29.

 
Montepaschi Win First Top 16 Game

Montepaschi Siena hosted their first Euroleauge Top 16 game on Wednesday January 18 at Palaestra against Gescrap Bilbao.  Montepaschi recovered a four point quarter time deficit for the scores to be 32-32 at half time.  Montepaschi then went on to outscore Bilbao in the last two quarters to win 81-67.  Dave played 34:53 minutes and was equal top scorer with Bo McCalebb with 18 points each.  Dave grabbed one offensive and six defensive rebounds for a team topping total of seven rebounds, rounding off his stat’s with two assists and one steal.  Montepaschi Siena host Banca Tercas Teramo on Sunday January 22 in the LegaBasket Series A before heading off to Madrid to play game 2 of the Euroleague Top 16.
